Rights and permission
Users must have rights, permission or another lawful basis to process an image. The upload flow asks users to confirm this before AI generation.
Allowed examples
Allowed uses include your own blurry photos, owned product or social images, public-domain images, licensed examples or images processed with consent.
High-care content
Faces, minors, private documents, copyrighted images and sensitive personal content require extra care, consent and lawful use. These rules may be updated as the product and legal requirements change.
Prohibited use
Do not use Unblur Image for pornographic, NSFW, explicit or sexually suggestive content; sexual exploitation; child sexual abuse material; non-consensual intimate imagery; face-swap or deceptive deepfakes; censored, private, paywalled or platform-restricted reveal; cheating or access-control bypass; harassment, stalking, doxxing, impersonation, infringement or illegal activity.
Text and restricted-content boundary
Text/document recovery, course-answer reveal, platform bypass and restricted-content reveal are not supported and must not be encouraged.
Rejection and credits
We may reject, suspend or review content or accounts that violate this policy. A local rejection uses 0 credits; a service-side rejection before a usable result restores held credits. Prohibited content must not be resubmitted as a workaround.

Can I upload someone else’s photo?
Only if you have permission and the use is lawful.
Can I unblur censored or paywalled images?
No. Censored, private, paywalled or platform-restricted reveal attempts are prohibited.
What happens if content is rejected?
It should fail safely and use 0 credits or restore held credits depending on where rejection happens.
